Driver how-to

Everything here is for the Offload app on your phone or tablet. Short guides, one step at a time. Work through them in order, or jump to what you need.

Start here: what a load is

A load is your job: the thing you're hauling from point A to point B. Each load holds the permit, the route, and the trip details in one place, so you never dig through papers. Most of your day in the app is opening a load and following its route.

Where your stuff lives

When you open the app, a bar runs along the bottom with the tabs you have access to. Drivers usually see these three:

  • My Schedule - your jobs, grouped by day. Your list of loads lives under a "My Loads" heading inside this tab.
  • Scan Permits - take a photo of a permit to turn it into a route.
  • All Projects - the bigger jobs your loads belong to.
NoteYou may also see an Inbox tab if your company shares loads with you from another company. Not everyone has every tab, so don't worry if yours look different.
NoteTap any load to open it. Inside you'll see its route on the map, the permit, and the "Start Full Route Navigation" button.
