Offload extracted something wrong. What do I do?
Edit it. AI extraction is a starting point, not the final word, and the PDF permit is always the source of truth. Every field on the Details tab, every step on the route, and every curfew is editable. The user is the final authority.
Where is the original permit PDF while I review?
It renders in a resizable pane right next to the map, not in a separate tab. A layout toggle switches that pane between side-by-side (next to the map) and stacked (below the map), so you can read the route off the permit and watch it plot at the same time.
My city or county permit route won't stitch to the state route.
This is the most common gotcha. Offload stitches sequential routes automatically but cannot stitch overlapping ones. If both permits cover the same stretch, cut one off where the other begins: end the state route at the city boundary, run the city route through, then resume the state route at the exit. Should I delete a permit or archive it?
Archive a permit that was valid but has been superseded (a corrected permit, extended dates, a revised route). Archiving keeps it and its route as a historical record without driving navigation. Delete only a permit uploaded by mistake: wrong file, duplicate scan, or attached to the wrong load.
How do I update a confirmed permit when the state reissues it?
Archive the current permit, upload the new one through Upload, Review, and Confirm, confirm its route, save the permit, and have the driver refresh their Routes tab (or push a new dispatch) to pick it up.
What does each permit status mean?
Application Needed = required but not yet applied for. Pending = submitted, awaiting issuance. Approved = issued, uploaded, reviewed, confirmed, route ready. No Permit Required = checked, none needed for this jurisdiction. Archived = historical, kept for reference, not driving the load.
Do I have to confirm every step on the route?
No. Confirming a step (waypoint) is a tracking aid for the reviewer on long routes. It doesn't block anything. The gate is per route: each route has a Confirm Route button, and confirming every route is what unlocks the Curfews tab. You can confirm a route even when some steps still have no waypoints (Offload just asks you to confirm).
Can I upload several state permits for one load at once?
Yes. Multiple state permits for the same load can be uploaded, and a multi-page permit comes in as a single document. Just keep each separate permit as its own PDF; don't combine two permits into one file.
