Manage your fleet, team, and partners

Run this workflow when you are setting up your roster or bringing on something new: a truck, a driver, or a partner company. Everything here lives in the Resources section of the left navigation. The reference for each page is the Resources overview.

Set up your resource types

Types are the vocabulary jobs use to ask for resources ("2 riggers and a crawler crane"), so define them first.

  1. 1

    Open Settings

Go to Settings and find Resource Types.
  2. 2

Add the types you dispatch by

Create person types (Crane operator, Rigger, Escort driver), truck types (Heavy-haul tractor, Twin-steer), trailer types (Lowboy, 13-axle steerable), and equipment types (Crawler crane, Pilot car).
  3. 3

Check them on the Types tabs

Assets and People each have a Types tab that lists what you defined.

Add your fleet

  1. 1

    Go to Assets

Open Assets in the left navigation.
  2. 2

    Add each asset

Click "Add asset" and choose Truck, Trailer, or Equipment. Fill in the unit number and details.
  3. 3

    Set ownership

In the form, mark the asset in-house (your company or a branch) or external (pick the partner company that owns it).
  4. 4

    Give it a type

Assign the resource type so requirements can find it.

Add your people

  1. 1

    Go to People

Open People in the left navigation.
  2. 2

    Add each person

Click "Add person". The form's toggle decides internal team member or external individual.
  3. 3

    Give them a dispatch role

A person's dispatch role is their person resource type (Driver, Crane operator, Rigger). It's what shows in the roster's Role column and what crew requirements match against.

Add and connect partner companies

  1. 1

    Go to Partners

Open Partners in the left navigation.
  2. 2

    Add the company

Click "Add company", pick the type (customer, carrier, vendor), and optionally add a first contact in the same step.
  3. 3

Connect when you want to share

Click "Connect" on the row (or "Invite partner") to send a connection invitation. Once accepted, you can share loads with them.

Check availability before you commit

  1. 1

    Open the Availability tab

On Assets or People, switch to the Availability tab (or go straight to /assets?tab=availability).
  2. 2

    Pick your window

Set the date range you are planning (up to 45 days).
  3. 3

    Read the grid

Each type group shows how many are free each day. Blue bands are load assignments; on-site bands show site-work presence.
  4. 4

    Assign from Dispatch

When you know who is free, fill the crew and equipment slots on the Dispatch board.
