Dispatch Views
Digital Dispatch offers 5 views, each designed for a different part of your workflow. Switch between them using the view selector in the toolbar.
Dispatch Schedule
The Dispatch Schedule is a timeline view that plots loads across a calendar. Each row represents a resource (truck or driver) and each bar represents a load.
Best for: Getting a big-picture view of your schedule across a date range. See at a glance which resources are booked, where there are gaps, and how loads overlap.
Key features
- Drag load bars to reschedule across dates
- Zoom in/out to change the time scale
- Click a load bar to view or edit details
- Resources are listed in the left panel with availability indicators
Load Cards
Load Cards displays your schedule as cards grouped by date. Each date row shows the projects and loads scheduled for that day, with a focus on the loads themselves.
Best for: Reviewing load details, managing equipment assignments, and working with individual loads. The load-first layout makes it easy to see what each load needs.
Key features
- Drag loads between date rows to reschedule
- Drag resources from the Resource Grid onto loads to assign them
- View load details including commodities, permits, and status
- The Resource Grid on the left shows available drivers, trucks, trailers, and equipment
Crew Board
The Crew Board uses the same card layout as Load Cards but organizes everything around crews instead of loads. Each project card contains crew cards, and each crew card shows its assigned driver, truck, and loads.
Best for: Managing crew assignments. See which crews are working on which projects, reassign people and trucks between crews, and balance workloads across your team.
Key features
- Drag crew cards between projects to reassign
- Drag drivers and trucks from the Resource Grid onto crew cards
- Reorder crews within a project
- View crew-level details including assigned loads and equipment
Daily Dispatch
The Daily Dispatch is a grid-based report view that summarizes everything happening on a given day. It shows each load with its assigned truck, driver, trailers, commodities, and escorts in a searchable table.
Best for: Daily operations coordination. Use it each morning to review the day’s plan, search for specific loads or drivers, and export the report for distribution.
Key features
- Search across all columns to find specific loads, drivers, or trucks
- Export to Excel for offline use or sharing
- Print or export to PDF for field distribution
- Sort by any column
Resource Calendar
The Resource Calendar shows resource availability over time. Each row represents a resource (driver, truck, trailer, or equipment) and displays their status across the date range.
Best for: Checking availability before making assignments. See who’s available, who’s dispatched, and who has time off or maintenance scheduled.
Key features
- Filter by resource type (drivers, trucks, trailers, equipment)
- View status indicators: available, dispatched, in-transit, on-site, unavailable, PTO
- Identify scheduling conflicts and gaps in coverage
