Load Management
Loads are the central entity in Offload. Each load represents a shipment that needs to be moved from origin to destination.
Creating a load
Use the global “Create new” button from anywhere in the app, or navigate to a project and add loads from there. You’ll need to provide:
- Customer and project — every load belongs to a project under a customer
- Origin and destination addresses
- Commodity details (description, weight, dimensions)
- Equipment requirements (driver, truck, and trailer types)
For a detailed step-by-step guide, see Creating a Load.
Load statuses
Loads progress through the following stages:
- Draft — Initial creation, still being configured
- Planned — Route and permits assigned
- In Transit — Actively being transported
- Delivered — Successfully completed
Organizing with projects
Group related loads into Projects for easier management and reporting. The Projects page gives you an at-a-glance view of all active projects, including load counts, customers, origins, destinations, and statuses.
